Slingoh Korean programs are designed by Sarah Slagle, Founder & Education Director, an MTESOL graduate from Arizona State University with over a decade of experience designing and teaching language programs in Korea.

After arriving in Korea as a Fulbright Korea English Teaching Assistant, Sarah continued her own Korean learning journey while building a life in Korea — completing Level 5 of the Korea Immigration & Integration Program (KIIP), earning an F-2-7 resident visa, and gaining firsthand experience navigating Korean life as a foreign resident.

Sarah created Slingoh to bridge the gap between studying Korean and using it with confidence. Programs focus on the practical language learners need to communicate, build relationships, and engage more fully in their lives in Korea.

Every program follows the Slingoh Method, combining structured curriculum design, active learning, and real-world language use.

To create the small-group experience Slingoh is designed for, programs need at least 4 students to run. If fewer than 4 students register, we’ll let you know and the program will be cancelled.

We’ll also keep you updated when the program is scheduled to run again, or help you find a similar Slingoh offering that may be a good fit.
